Conversations with AI? Now..

Conversations with AI is still AI, but feels like more but less?. The posts are ghostwritten by AI. I can pick and choose which LLM writes my post. The content is driven 100% by me – being the geek I am – I’ve created an app that allows me to define a topic, then it asks me questions about it, when it thinks it has enough information from me, it generates the post, I can then edit, critique, refine, finally publish – with image generated by an image model of my preference. This really feels quite natural, the times I have an idea and I’m not able to use my keyboard too well, I can even have a back and forth spoken conversation with it – which is nice. Conversations with AI? Now.. but then..

Conversations with AI is still AI driven, but not entirely. The posts now are composed by AI (Gemini 3.0), but very much include me in the loop. I have a pipeline ‘prompt’ that guides me through an initial idea to then generating a finalised blog post, with an image. I have an idea and can ‘run’ this prompt, makes it a bit more personal and human. I could easily crank out multiple posts a day automatically, but I think this would be too lazy.
The delay in getting posts out is me feeling well enough to come up with an idea and then massaging it through the pipeline.

Conversations with AI? Pre Gemini 2.5..

Conversations with AI is still AI driven, specifically LLM driven. ChatGPT was getting expensive! The posts that come out each day are generated from LLMs and edited by me – at the moment I use Metallama. Images aren’t generated by dall-e anymore, instead I’m using a text-to-image model, the prompt to generate the image is created by a series of questions to llama LLM. Some of the images that are being created are stunning! Topics for the posts are created by a prompt to the llama LLM, the subjects for the topics are from me (you’ll get lots of science, tech, ancient history, well-being, health, conspiracy and quite possibly a dollop of aliens!)
